Can't download music from a Mac to my Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve seen all advice provided to download own music to a Versa. First step is downloading Fitbit connect on my Mac, the download gets stuck: once I see the cardboard-like installer, double clicking on the image doesn’t produce any result. An elongated window appears, saying ‘verifying installer’ impossible to get farther than this. Thanks for any practical suggestion.

A warm welcome to the Community @Vinc52.

I would like to know if you keep having issues downloading music to your Versa? If you do, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why can't I download music and podcasts to my Fitbit watch? and follow the instructions provide there.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Hello. Thanks for getting back to me. But: referring to online posts won’t do. I have already exhausted this resource. And your latest mail referring to a specific reply doesn’t open any actual post.

I’ve gone through all the online advice. And managed to install the Fitbit connect on my Mac. Still, when I go to the step of identifying my device, the app doesn’t allow for the Versa being added. It’s marked ‘mobile devices only’.

And when I try and do the music transfer through my iPhone, even after disconnecting and connecting back to Bluetooth and making sure the iPhone and Versa are on the same WiFi network, on the Versa I get the message ‘Use your computer to start transferring music’. Note that the computer-based Fitbit connect app doesn’t accept the Versa as a device ...

It’s a comma 22 situation. Quite maddening. I can’t believe Fitbit can’t come up with a practical, straightforward way to fix what seems a major and persistent bug.

Thank you for replying operationally, not referring to online advice that has proven non existent or of no practical relevance.

Regards,

Giuseppe
