Can't edit the swim length on the Fitbit app anymore

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been content with my versa 2 tracking my swim workouts. I didn’t need the advanced stats that other devices offer. However, my Versa 2 doesn’t recognize kick laps. I would add these at the end of my swim by modifying the total distance. This option is no longer available following the recent app update (Oct 2023).

Will this option return to the app? Very disappointed…. Seeking other watches to remedy this issue and improve swim tracking.

Hi there, @VicFl. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your swim data. I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist you, would you mind clarifying what the issue is exactly with the Fitbit app or what it is what you're trying to do there with the poll lengths? Please note you can still set your pool length directly from your Versa 2 by following the steps below:

  1. On your device, open the Exercise app > Swim.
  2. Tap the gear icon > in the top left > Pool Length.

For more information, see How do I track swims with my Fitbit device?

I use the Fitbit App on my iPhone. The app did an automatic update this morning.

I swam 3000m including multiple laps of drill or kick which the watch doesn’t recognize as laps. I normally click on the … on the top right corner and edit the activity (change distance to actual distance swum. Today, after the update, the … have disappeared and we can no longer modify the distance swum.

Please tell me this is temporary 😭.

Hi there, @VicFl. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and the details shared in your post. I understand how important is to you to be able to edit your activities.

Would you mind trying to edit your swim activity once again? Looks like we did have an inconvenience with the option to edit your activity, but it seems to be solved now. I tested my swim activity and indeed, I was able to edit my stats as usual.

Let me know if you can too.
