I have been trying to update my Fitbit versa for over 12 hours now. It wouldn’t update. It got maybe 75% of the way done and then just froze every single time. Yes I restarted my phone, turned my Bluetooth off and back on again, tried on my iPad, restarted the Fitbit, and even got desperate enough to factory reset my Fitbit. Now I can’t even get it to sync with my phone/app. Won’t recognize the WiFi even if it’s literally right next to it. Won’t do anything via Bluetooth. It seems like the latest update completely messed with it. Help please!!

First thing we need to do is remove the Versa from the Bluetooth list on both the iPad and phone.
Let's update the Fitbit app and restart both the phone and versa.
Now choose a device to use to setup the Versa.
Your Versa should be plugged in and charging so that WiFi is turned on and the device being used to setup the Versa needs to be connected to the same wifi.
However the update may also be done through Bluetooth and should take less than 30 minutes.. I did mine while driving to work.
