Can't find icon

I do not have the icon on my computer to download music.  It shows up on my phone - the rectangle with 3 lines and a circle.  How can I get this up on the fitbit dashboard on my computer.

Yes I had read that one previously - for some reason I don't have the little icon to click on to get to the music.  It is on my phone but not on my computer.

@jd41us can you please share your OS version and platform (Mac, Win etc.)? Could you also post some screenshots of what you see on your desktop? Thx!

You can see that I have the icon on my phone (the rectangle with circle and 3 lines) that will take me to music but the one on my computer does not have it nor a way to get to music.

@jd41us thank you for posting screenshots. It seems like you're in the browser. You need to download Win10 Fitbit app from Microsoft store. Please see below:

PART 1

Start here the first time you download playlists to your watch. If you previously downloaded playlists, skip to Part 2 to download new music and podcasts.

INSTALL THE FITBIT APP

If you haven’t already done so, install the Fitbit app on your computer:

  1. Click the Start button on your PC and open the Windows Store (called Store).
  2. Search for “Fitbit app” and when you find it click Freeto download the app. If you’ve never downloaded an app to your computer, you’ll be prompted to create an account with the Windows Store.
  3. Click Microsoft accountto sign in with your existing Microsoft account. If you don’t already have an account with Microsoft, follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account.
  4. Open the app after the download is complete.
  5. Log in to your existing Fitbit account.

CONNECT TO WI-FI

Make sure your watch and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon (User-added image) > your device image.
  2. Tap or click Wi-Fi Settings.
  3. Tap or click Add Networkand follow the on-screen instructions to add your Wi-Fi network or check the Network list to make sure it’s already listed.
  4. Tap the network name > Connect.
  5. To see which network your computer is on, click the Wi-Fi symbol (User-added image) on your screen. Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your watch.
  6. If your watch and computer are connected to different networks, manually connect to your watch to the same network as your computer. Return to the Wi-Fi Settings screen in the Fitbit app, tap the network name, and tap Connect.

If you have trouble connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, see Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?

PART 2

  1. For best results, sync your watch in the Fitbit app, and then disable Bluetooth temporarily on your phone and computer.
  2. Plug your watch into the charger.
  3. On your PC, open the Fitbit app and click the Music icon (User-added image).
  4. Click Personal Music.
  5. On your watch, open the Music app (User-added image) and then tap Transfer Music. Note that you may need to scroll down to see the transfer button.

  6. Wait a few moments for your watch to connect. Note it can sometimes take a minute or two to connect.
  7. When prompted, follow the on-screen instructions on your PC to choose or create the playlists you want to download to your watch. After you select a playlist, the download starts automatically. Don't minimize the window until the transfer is complete.
  8. Note that if you take several minutes to pick your first playlist, Wi-Fi may disconnect to preserve your battery. Tap the Transfer Music button again to reconnect and continue choosing your playlists.

It has already been installed for a few years for my old fitbit.  I have deleted it twice and reinstalled and it still does not show up.

@jd41us once in Fitbit app on Win, click on Versa, then go to media and choose from 3 options available (Pandora, Deezer, Personal Music). Please take a look at this video.
