I am at my wits end with trying to get my Fitbit signed into alexa. See I lost it for a year and a half and recently found it. And even though I had alexa signed in it was no longer signed in. I have been trying everything. I tried things that Amazon told me to do and everything Fitbit told me to do. Nothing seems to work. Basically what happens is after the setup page takes me to the Amazon sign in page. I’m asked to put in a one time password and after I punch it in I’m redirected back to the Alexa setup page. I could really use a hand in figuring this out.

Hello @HollyR32
I can clearly see you are frustrated trying to sign into Alexa on the Fitbit App. I would be totally frustrated as well. I would be fibbing if I said I knew exactly what was going wrong so I’m not even gonna try. But, with that said, I did take some time and really research around online to see if I could find you help in someway. I did in fact find this awesome article that gives you step by step instructions on the setup as well as lots of troubleshooting tips. My only advice would be to log out of the Fitbit app, turn off your phone for 1-2 mins then turn your phone back on then log back into the Fitbit app before you begin the process. Im a true believer that having things on a fresh start helps a lot. Here’s the article: https://www.myhealthyapple.com/alexa-not-working-on-your-fitbit-follow-these-tips-to-fix-it/
😃 Please let me know how it turns out…. I’m truly crossing my fingers for ya.

Let’s try this: Apparently to integrate the Fitbit with Alexa, the Alexa app on the phone needs to be able to store something to recognize that integration. Go go to your phone's settings and to allow the Alexa app full permissions. 🤷:female_sign: It worth a shot
Also you must allow the Fitbit app to run in the background on your phone for Alexa to work correctly. I’m not sure if you use Google Assistant but If you are already signed in with Google Assistant, sign out first and then tap Alexa, because can’t be signed into both .

Hello @Runner1965 and @HollyR32
If you have the Amazon App installed directly on phone please delete the app. After deleting the Amazon App from your phone then go back to the fitbit amazon app. Let the app set up your amazon account through your phone browser. After everything is complete try using alexa on your watch. If that works you can then reinstall the amazon shopping app on your phone.
😉That should get it sorted out for you. Please let me know how it went.

Hello again @Runner1965
Did you delete the Amazon app you have on your phone? It needs to be deleted first then go through the Fitbit App and sign in though the Fitbit App.
