Can't install some watch faces on Versa lite

Hi, been trying to choose watch faces and there are some that I can't install even if my device is synced and both the device firmware and fitbit android app is already updated.

 

I have been able to install other watch faces but there I those I really want to install but can't due to the message in the screenshot above. 

 

Any help? Thank you.

Hi @SunsetRunner , I searched for this particular CF and I'm able to select and install it on my Versa 2. Since the display of the Lite and the Versa 2 are different is size, I assume that the developer did not update his CF for the Lite so it's incompatible with the Lite. I would advice you to contact the developer and ask him/her if the update for the lite is planned or not. You can find the link to contact the developer at the bottom of this CF underneath "Clock details". Press the link and send a message/email. Regards kuzibri

Thank you for the info. I double checked and my app on my phone is really updated, and as for the versa lite, there is no update option when I view the device on the Fitbit app (I already updated it when I first set it up).

 

I got an email from the app developer support that this concern is not under their domain and I should contact fitbit support.

 

Any help? 😞

It might be really a case of different update version in your Fitbit Versa. Can you please check the OS version? It is under the settings menu of your watch.

OS Version of versa lite is 38.33.1.30

Dear @SunsetRunner 

I'm sorry for late answer but yesterday I have been very busy.

As I expected the issue is due to a level of update of your firmware that is not at pair with the target level of the developer's clockface.

In fact your firmware 38.33.1.30 is based on Fitbit OS 3 while the current firmware version is based on Fitbit OS 4 (as evident since compatible also with Versa 2). Hence I agree with the developer that Fitbit should actually solve the issue because he actually did the right thing meaning developing the clockface with the latest version of SDK available. My suggestion is to contact the Fitbit Support and ask to instruction how to update your Versa Lite to latest firmware (I actually thought the rollout was over so it's very strange you didn't get the update).

 

@SunsetRunner I suggest you to delete your post that is unfairly attacking the developer of the clockface.
