Can’t log into Fit Coach and don’t receive text notifications

I can’t log into Fitbit Coach. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, changing my password, logging in through Fitbit and FitStar but nothing works it just says “Error invalid login”

 

Also, my versa 2 used to receive text notifications but doesn’t anymore. I still get app notifications and phone call notifications but not text messages. I have an iPhone and I’ve checked all the settings in both my phones settings and the Fitbit app and everything is turned on.

Hello @CFD2, regarding your first point I had the same issue with my daughter. It turned out she has an account made for Fitstar using the same email address of Fitbit but with different passwords.

So what we had to do was to try to login with email address (and not with Fitbit account), asking to recover the password, change it and then login. Only later on we could link it with Fitbit in order to use the 90 days premium trial.

I don't know if the same applies to you but you might try.

turns out removing my Fitbit device from the app/my phone and re pairing solved both issues. Once I repaired I was automatically logged into Fitbit coach.
