Can't log water via Versa Lite and gives "Max logs entered" error

Hi Everyone,

 

my wife has a Versa Lite and is not able to log her water via her Versa Lite watch.

In the beginning she was able to log water but it didn't sum up the log just kept the last amount added and she could sync everything except water logs with her phone.

Now she's not even able to log water via her Versa Lite and it gives an error message saying "Maximum logs entered".

 

We already tried the following without any success:

  • checking for latest updates of fitbit app and today app in fitbit
  • restarting the Versa Lite
  • reinstalling the fitbit app
  • removing the water log in the fitbit app, synching with watch, closing the fitbit app, opening the fitbit app, adding the water log and synching again with Versa Lite
  • Putting Versa Lite in charger and having it synched for atleast 1 hour
  • shutdown of Versa Lite and start up and synch

She has an android phone: LG nexus 5X

android version: 8.1.0

 

She just bought it a week ago and she is frustrated. Help.

I see this has been a problem since early 2019.  I just got my Versa Lite as a gift two weeks ago and am having same issue trying to track water on the watch.  I have tried all suggested solutions.  I have been unable to remove the error.  Are there any fixes out there???

After a month waiting here, I started a chat session with support but still no solution at the moment. They are still working to resolve it. Personally I think it's taking a very long time and it feels very unprofessional. Not sure how I feel about any of this.
