Hello @Aileenc27, it's nice to see another post from you here in the Community Forums.
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I too have had this problem with my versa lite. I was going to give it to my grandmother so removed from my iphone, reset to factory settings and proceeded to pair with her Samsung phone. She previously had the Inspire I believe which we took off. Took 4 days “attempting” to update firmware and once it did its never worked since.
move tried all troubleshooting.
It gets as far as putting the code in from the watch, starts to pair with Bluetooth then tells me an error has occurred and to abort. For a 7 month old watch which was fine up until then.
now it won’t even pair back with my phone which is running on latest iOS. Luckily she has managed to pair her old Fitbit back to her phone but I’m left without 😡😡
