Can't pair Versa with P30 Pro

The Huawei P20 Pro is listed as compatible with Fitbit devices however I can't get it to pair successfully. The devices talk to each other, I get the code and enter it but then it doesn't show as a device in the Fitbit app. My Charge 2 pairs with no problems. Help!

I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your Versa could connect to your phone.
