So frustrated waited to get this new Fitbit Versa and now I can not wear it, because I can not set up. How much longer? Why can't you just reset so I could set up new Fitbit account?

If you are having issues pairing your Versa, I recommend restarting it by following the instructions provided in the How do I restart my Fitbit device? article.
After the restart procedure, make sure you are doing the following from your Fitbit app to set it up:

Yes - me too - been 2 extremely non-productive days to get it set up. Support says to do all these things and it will not work.
It was paired once to an old account. The old account got deleted, and then try to pair to the new one. No such luck. One agent said he saw it on the deleted account. Another agent says no it's not. I think something is hosed up between the 2 accounts. Because it was set up once, but now no luck?
Also spent many hours trying to rectify with them and by myself. Do everything step by step that they suggest. This last time I did the reboot, now it's stuck on the screen to set up and it can't be found. I get a message saying trouble communicating with fitbit.com - yeah I guess so!
I'm taking it back. Not sure if I get a new one or not, or wait until they get the bugs out. My device is compatible even though I was told it was not.
I like the Versa so much for my small wrist, but certainly not the headaches I've had since this fiasco started.

I'm having a same issue, I enter the pairing 4 digit code, then the fitbit app goes back to the account screen and shows no device paired, the versa goes back to the initial screen you get when you start it for the very first time. I've rebooted the fitbit, my phone, updated the fitbit app on my phone and followed the setup steps several times. I started this process due to notifications not working as well.

I have reset my phone and turned off my versa lite multiple times and made a new account and now my fitbit will not pair at all. I have tried doing it with it on the charger and off and ive turned blue tooth off and back on with still no results. Im ready to throw this away and be done with fitbit.
