Can't pair or sync my Versa 3 to my phone again

I believe it was March 26th when an update went out with the Fitbit app. Ever since then I can't get my Versa 3 to pair. I've restarted my watch, turned bluetooth on and off again, uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app, turned my phone on and off again. I can not get it to sync. I never had a problem prior to this fix. When I go into my settings on my phone (Pixel 5), where the apps that ask for location permission are, the Fitbit app isn't there. I'm assuming that there was some line of code that didn't get put into the update. I'm wondering if anyone else is running into any problems with the lastest app update?

Hi there, @Sarah2.0. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. 

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
