Can't put on my Versa wristband

Very frustrated trying to switch bands on my Versa. Short sides (clasp) go on fine... long sides (both neoprene and woven bands) absolutely do not want to snap in... took 1/2 hour on woven and I gave up on classic band.

@Jvan76 Please take a look at this video. There's a little twist/rotation one has to make.

😉 sorry no... I know my way around watch bands and tech and I’m not a bull in a china shop... there’s is a definite manufacturing flaw... it will not go in without a specific watch tool... mine are just way too tight... they should go in like the video and they do not... many people are having this issue with this particular make/model (see other forum threads) Versa Special Edition w woven grey band... but thanks for your input and time trying to help - it’s appreciated!

@Jvan76 ouch. Is it all bands? Originals and 3rd party? I have Versa SE and both types of bands and haven't experienced that. But, perhaps you got a difficult Versa? 😕

@Jvan76 hehehe 😄 Perhaps it's just the bands and 3rd party will work better?

I have had my versa now for almost a month and one of the straps (the top one) will not come off. The strap is the one that came attached to the fitbit and I have never been able to get it off. The strap that it came with fits me so I never had a reason to remove it but I tried to take it off today to clean it and it will not come off. I have tried everything, like twisting the strap, but it will not come off and I am afraid if I continue to try I will break it. This is very frustrating and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or has had the same problem.
Thanks.

@Jvan76 So was it a band that was too wide or a pin? Did you get any 3rd party band from Amazon? Perhaps it would work better.

@ZSRP I have moved your post here as perhaps @Jvan76 can give you some pointers.

I have three third party bands and I struggle with them too. They are harder to replace than the woven band that came with my SE. the Alta HR band was sooo much easier...

@dodgingwrenches and you're replacing them as shown in this video:

The factory oem bands on the long straps for the “large” wrist bands are too wide, they don’t fit correctly, they must be forced in place.
