@Cruisercat I understand where you're coming from.

If you're not getting preview, no name of who sent it, how do you know there's a notification on your watch?

In order for me to move forward, would you mind checking if the following is enable on your phone? Open the Message+ app, then go to "Settings", then "Notifications", then "In-app notification settings", then enable "Preview new messages".

If the above wasn't enable, try enabling it and then test your notifications to see if they can be open the way it's expected.

Hi there @Cruisercat. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.

Are you receiving notifications? If so, I wonder if you're only seeing the sender's name or the full message but you cannot open the text message?

Please note when I press open message on my watch, only that message closes, as it should. I pick up the phone, unlock the screen, the message is the next thing I see. If you press open, you are telling the Versa 2 to open the notification on the phone. If your not near the phone, don't press open.

As a friendly reminder, please know that for text messages, name or number of the sender and the message appear. If there is a longer notifications, tap the notification to see the full message. Note that if you clear a notification from your device, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your device.

If the above is not your watch's behavior, I'd recommend restarting your Versa 2 by following these steps How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Also, please take a look at this help article Why are notifications delayed or missing?

I am only seeing that I have a message, no preview no name of who sent it. I talked with several fitbit staff and have restarted my fitbit and phone several times and done factory reser on the fitbitbas well even though it is new. All I want to do is read the messages on my fitbit simce at my work I am not really allowed a phone on my person. It is easier to read it on a watch.
