I have a Samsung A32 phone. My Versa 3 allows phone calls, but I cannot see who sent a text msg or the content of the msg. It only says New Message with the option to open it which opens on my phone or cancel. I have restarted both devices. I have removed the FitBit app and reinstalled it. All notifications, bluetooth , wifi, etc are on. Need help cause I have called customer service and no one has been able to help. Getting frustrated!!

Hi there, @Dawn429. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

Have you verified if the "Preview new messages" option is enable? To do so, open the Message+ app, then go to "Settings", then "Notifications", then "In-app notification settings", then enable "Preview new messages".

As a friendly reminder, please know that for text messages, name or number of the sender and the message appear. If there is a longer notifications, tap the notification to see the full message. Note that if you clear a notification from your device, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your device.

Notifications tips:

  • To delete 1 notification, tap the notification > Clear.
  • To delete all notifications at once, swipe to the top of your notifications and tap Clear All.
  • For longer notifications, tap the notification to see the full message.
  • To exit the notifications screen, press the back button or swipe up.
  • If you clear a notification from your device, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your device.

Hi @Dawn429 - this may be related to how notifications are configured to appear on your phone.Maybe a new Android feature?

To check, when you see a notification on your phone do you see who it is from and a preview?

The watch cannot display more than on the phone, so have a look at how notifications are configured, if there is an option for it.
