Hi there, @Dayna1212. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. @Guy_ @SunsetRunner Thanks for your help.

As a friendly reminder, please check if "Preview new messages". To do so, open the Message+ app, then go to "Settings", then "Notifications", then "In-app notification settings", then enable "Preview new messages".

If the above wasn't enable, try enabling it and then test your notifications to see if they can be open the way it's expected.

Nevertheless, I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and they've already assisted you with this matter. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the outcome of your case, please feel free to contact them back.

Hello @Dayna1212

Let’s check a few settings. I’m not sure if you are using Android or iOS so please forgive me for offering both.
If your Android:
Open your Messages app on your Android device, go to Settings, tap on NotificationsMake sure there is a checkmark (enabled) next to "Preview Message"  (If you don't see this option, it might be under 'In-app notifications settings')

On an iPhone:
On your phone, tap Settings then tap notifications …Make sure Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.
In your Message App make sure it’s set like this:

  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Alerts Notification Center—On
  • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

if you need more help look here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979.htm

😃 I hope this provided you the best answer to get your text readable. Please let me know

Hi @Dayna1212  - in addition to clarify, you can't actually read text messages on your watch, you can only see the first part of a notification, or if you tap on it the full notification but not the full message.

Also if you open the message on the phone (or click on the notification on the phone) the notification should get removed from the phone and the watch.
