Can't receive texts anymore

When I first got my Fitbit I followed the instructions to receive texts, WhatsApp etc on it. It worked for a few messages but has now stopped recieving any notifications. I have  been in to check on the settings and all is as it says it should be. Any ideas what I can try?

Not without knowing what type of device that the Fitbit app is on?
