Can't remove Versa 2 wristband

I am sure the community must have heard this complain gzillion times but it could not get any help no matter what I tried. I love the watch but one day at work, my watch's original strap broke, not sure how even though I am a gentle user but since there were alot of papers on my desk, I am assuming it must have been a paper cut.

Anyways, I go to amazon and order another 3rd part strap. But now I can't take the strap off, tried every video out there to remedy but nothing works. I tried to keep pushing that small metal piece down and it came off. Unless I want to use 2 different color straps on my watch, its junk to me. Any help would be appreciated, and standing ovation for the person who designed & approved this design for straps.

Much thanks

@Versascrap It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you removing your Versa 2 band. Some users have used tweezers to remove the pin. Also watch screwdrivers may help in this. Finally if you have a jewelry/watch store nearby they could help with this too.

Let me know how it goes.
