Can't remove unwanted watch face from Versa Clocks

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have Fitbit Versa and want to know how to remove a watch face I no longer need from the watch. It's not visible in the phone app after removal, but it's still there on the watch under Clocks with no apparent way to delete it.

If I select it, it becomes the face on my Versa very briefly, then I just get a message telling me to enter a 5 digit code at kzl.io/code.

If I do this I just get options to buy.  I don't want to buy it, I just want to get rid of it from the watch Clocks selection.

The watch face I'm trying to get rid of is called Versa Dashboard.

Hello,

I responded to your e-mail earlier, but just in case anyone is having the same problem because it can take some time to get the clocks you need:-

A lot of people find it difficult to remove the clocks once it shows up in the Clocks app.  If they are not showing on the phone app, first restart the watch and app and resync to see if it disappears from the watch.  If not, install another clock from the app store - any Fitbit one will do.  Repeat until you have installed 5 other clocks, then the one(s) you don't want should disappear.  Meanwhile, ignore the message to pay if you don't want to pay until it goes away.

I hope this helps.

Thanks bsavarin.

Yes, there are a number of other posts regarding this issue, but none have a clear solution.

I did consider a reset, but that wipes all my data, which I assume means all history, GPS routes and everything.  I’m sure it would work, and quickly, but it’s just too clumsy a fix.

I just spent nearly two hours trying to get 5 faces from the ‘Fitbit’ selection in the gallery.  Eventually succeeded, but the app and the procedure are badly flawed – I got repeated errors saying there was no internet connection, that the face hadn’t finished installing and lots of other nonsense.  Fitbit products and procedures are a real mess in so many places - this is just another example!

I haven’t yet tried removing the faces to see if I can have an empty list (or a list with just one entry and the rest blank) and have this sync to be the same on both watch and app.  It’s just too time-consuming with all these bugs and errors, but if I do get the time, I'll update this thread.
