Can't see the Versa 3's display in the sunlight

Had this thing for a couple years now and no matter what I do the screen is not visible outside. In sun it is plain black. Not even visible legibly when you cover it and look closely. Its set to MAX and always on. And have tried at least 10 different paid and free faces and to no avail. This thing is pointless. Worst watch. Has prob syncing ALL the time too. Would never recommend this to anyone. Product support stinks and no easy way to complain or contact fitbit. This was a gift so and I didnt know it was crap until too late. So Im stuck with a watch that rarely syncs. But the biggest prob is it can not be seen no matter what. Ive tried everything I can. So, is there anyone who can help fix this or is it just not a hope?
