Can’t see the screen of the Versa when I’m outside

When I’m outside is very hard to see the clock,

On the device, go to the "Settings" app (Swipe left then tap the gear icon with the word "Setting" below it).

Brightness is the top setting. You can cycle from Dim to Normal to Bright and back to Dim with taps.

I suspect you are currently on Dim.

Of course, it is possible that part of the problem is the clock face you are using. Some custom clock faces have colors that are difficult to see in daylight.
