Can't set up Strava to my Versa

Hi.

I'm trying to set up strava.When I ckick on strava on my Fitbit versa it asks me to go to the app to login on strava which I do and when I check the my versa again its still the same message asking me to login on my phone.

Hi there @Daids123, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about the inconvenience you're having when trying to setup Strava to your Versa.

Please make sure you're following the correct steps to complete the setup:

1. If you don’t have a Strava account, create one at https://www.strava.com/ or download the Strava app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
3. Tap or click the gear icon next to Strava. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
4. Tap Authorize and follow the instructions on-screen to log in to your account and authorize the connection.
5. Sync your watch to see your recent activity in the Strava app 

If you also want your Fitbit data to be shared with Strava:

1. Go to https://strava.fitbit.com/.
2. Tap the Connect button and follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your account and authorize the connection.

If you're doing as described above but your watch still says to go to the app and link, restart the smartwatch and sync again. Leave the Fitbit app running in the background of the phone for the app to receive updates. 

Give this a go and let me know how it goes.

How did you get yours to work?  I am still having trouble.  I can not get my fitbit activities to show up on strava.

I have connected mine and sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt- so frustrating! It seems like the GPS on my Fitbit is patchy. Is it a glitch?

Hi there @Helen_jl, welcome on board. To better assist you, would you mind giving me more details about what you're experiencing between Fitbit and Strava? By "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't" you mean that both apps are not syncing with each other or you have issues accessing to Strava?

In regards to the GPS, I'll be glad to take a closer look. So, I'd recommend verifying the requirements for a good GPS connection at: Why sin't GPS working on my Fitbit device?

I have to have my fit app open on my phone so the fitbit connects to the gps then it works

All sorted now, it just started working without doing anything!
