Can't set up WhatsApp notifications on my Versa 3

Help!

Proud owner of a Versa 3, but try as I might I can't connect it with WhatsApp to receive notifications.

I've read all the instructions, Googled and been through YouTube. I don't have the menu options everyone is describing and a search of 3rd party apps via the Fitbit app  produces a '0 results' message.

Hi there, @Grudo. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. It's nice to hear you managed to get the menu that @Guy_ was talking about. @Guy_ Thanks for your tips and recommendations!

As a friendly reminder, please note if you have more than one Fitbit device that receives notifications from your phone, notifications appear on one or more of your Fitbit devices. Since you have an Android phone, notifications usually appear on only one of your Fitbit devices that are in range. Make sure you set up notifications correctly by following the steps in How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? and

Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

Hope this helps.

Hi @Grudo  - just to be sure, when you click on profile photo, Versa 3 photo, Notifications, do you see App notifications?

If Whatsapp is not listed as an app try doing the configuration when you actually have a whatsapp notification pending on the phone. It may then be available.

If you are not getting whatsapp notifications on your phone then change the settings.

Basically only what's shown as a notification in the phone's status bar can appear on the watch which also has to be syncing well.

Try the free SimpleCheckUp app. This will tell you if its connecting to the Fitbit App, directly on the watch when a whatsapp message comes so you can check if it is a sync issue.

Thank you... I've gone back over everything;  removed all permissions, reinstalled apps on repeat, and eventually the wonderful 'menu' appeared. I think I've cracked it... 🤞

The SimpleCheckUp app is a great tip - thanks!
