Can't set up WhatsApp notifications on my Versa 3

Hello,

Since I had issues to connect with the Bluetooth of my phone, I reinstalled my Versa on my phone again. Since then, I cannot choose Whatsapp as an option for notifications, only other apps. I checked all the settings and everything seems to be fine. I already restarted my phone and did a hard reset for the watch as well.

What can I do?

Thanks for the answers in advance!

Karen

Hi there, @KarenDeR. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, since you're setting up WhatsApp notification, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell someone to send you a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected.

Hi @KarenDeR - if you have factory reset you will need to define the Notifications and App notifications again.

However, if you have an iPhone the apps only appear in the App notifications list if you have a pending notification in the status bar.  Wait till that is the case and then try the setup. If you choose Whatsapp as the main message app it will have to be specified, and possibly the same restriction applies.
