Can't set-up a Versa, followed the troubleshooting steps posted here.

Hi,

I cannot set-up my recently purchased Versa. I looked at all the troubleshooting guides posted on this forum, but the steps didn't help. I am using the wireless sync dongle and trying to connect to a Windows 10 HP laptop that meets all system requirements. 

 

I've tried four different times and each time I can't get past "1370 minutes (estimated)". It just stays at that status forever. I've removed the device and added it back. 


Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Windows 10 laptop with a built-in Bluetooth.  Can you verify if your laptop has a built-in Bluetooth?  If it does, you won't need the dongle to begin with.

 

Are there other Bluetooths around when you try to set up the device?  If there are, they will either need to be turned off or moved to a different area.  Multiple Bluetooths can confuse the tracker as to which one it's supposed to sync to.
