Can't set up my Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have an fb504 (non-payment versa 2)

The app doesn't have an option to enable a PIN, but I want one before I add sensitive apps/notifications to the watch.

Why is it missing??

Device lock with PIN prevents only usage of Fitbit Pay.  Even on models with Fitbit Pay and PIN, it does not prevent seeing other data.

You could suggest adding an option for a security PIN to see any data on the Features Suggestion Board .

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I had an fb505 with a pin, and it required a pin to even open the list of apps on the watch. Did that get completely changed recently?

I even saw official docs saying pin is optional except for pay-capable devices

@Fry-kun   FB 504 is the original Versa.  FB 505 is the Versa Special Edition.  The Versa Special Edition is the model with the NFC chip and Fitbit Pay.  According to this Help article, only Fitbit Pay devices have the device lock.  If you can provide a link to a document that has an error on it, we can notify Fitbit to get it corrected.
