Can't set up my card on Fitbit Pay UK

There are 9 Banks listed by Fitbit in the UK that have cards that will work with the Fitbit Wallet. I first obtained a Transferwise Card. It should have been a Mastercard, but it was a Visa, so it will not work. Transferwise does not have a Mastercard! I then obtained a Starling Bank Mastercard, but it fails during the setup in Fitbit Wallet. So is the Fitbit Wallet bogus in the UK. Has anyone got it to work?

Hi @davidsefton I am not in the UK, but mine works well in Australia. If your Starl8ng band Mastercard won't set up, I'd suggest you restart the watch several times. Restart your Tracker

Then delete the Fitbit app on your phone, restart the phone and reinstall the Fitbit App. Log back in and try setting the card up again. Good luck.

FitbitPay used to work with Starling bank but I tried that a long time ago with my Ionic. Are you getting any error messages?

Hi there, @davidsefton. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with Fitbit Pay.

If you're getting an error message when trying to add your card, may I know what it says?

Please make sure that your Versa 3 is syncing properly to your Fitbit app. For more information, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data? and Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, try the following:

  • Restart your Fitbit device and phone.
  • Restart Bluetooth on their phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Try adding your card again.

I got an error message telling me that there was an error in the log on details I had entered. However, I know they were correct.

The error message said "Some of the card details you supplied were incorrect. Please verify and try again". I verified the details were correct. The only matter of possible issue is that the expiry date on the actual plastic card said "03/25", though the prompt online indicated it should be entered as "03/2025". However, both versions failed anyway.

The Versa 3 syncs without difficulty.

Any other explanation would be welcome.
