Can’t set up my versa

I just bought a Versa today and I cannot get it setup after hours of trying. I’ve updated my iOS, restarted Bluetooth, restarted versa, forgot the versa in Bluetooth, uninstalled and reinstalled app, restarted my phone, etc. It just stays stuck on the screen after I enter the pairing code and doesn’t move forward. Help!

@MahiruJuJu Can you share your iPhone model? Let's try this in that order:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair.
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions
  7. Set up Versa as a new device. Make sure both phone and Versa are on strong WIFI and near the router in order to download firmware update. Follow the instructions on the screen
  8. Sync

Thanks for the help! I tried the steps and it didn’t work initially but it did when I turned off location services. Seems it’s hard for my Versa to stay connected if location services are on.

Hey @MahiruJuJu, welcome aboard my friend! I appreciate the time you have taken to follow the steps that @Marrrmaduke posted above. If you are using an Android device, it is normal that it asks you to turn on location services in order to sync, not backwards. For further information, please take a look at this help article.

Have a nice day!
