Can't set up new fit bit.

I get a message saying email is already taken by another account, probably from an old fit bit lost several years ago.  How can I set up this new one??? Please help!!!

Hello @alice2019 it sounds like you are trying to create a new Fitbit account instead of logging into your Fitbit account. 

Do you want to connect to the Fitbit account that you used when posting this question? If so, go to you settings page and use this email to log in with.

2 options:

1) Don't set up a new account.  Just use the same email you used before, and all your old data will still be there also.

or

2) Use a different email to set up a new account.  Email addresses are free and easy to get.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
