I hope somebody can help me with this because it is driving me insane.
I had a Versa 2 which I only bought to get notifications from a specific iPhone app. I don't really want to say what it is - not because it is embarrassing or anything but it's a bit private and isn't really relevant.
After I set up Bluetooth on my iPhone, everything worked perfectly - the app appeared in a list of about eight apps in the Fitbit's notification settings the rest of which I had switched off. Everything was great and notifications worked perfectly.
Because of how I use the app that I want notifications from and because I started to occasionally use the Versa 2 as a normal watch, I bought a second Versa 2 which I intended to just use as a pocket device (no strap) to get the app notifications. I paired my original Versa 2 with my iPad with one Gmail account and the second Versa 2 to my iPhone with another Gmail account - simply to keep the two devices discrete from each other - to all intents and purposes, two Versa 2 paired with two separate devices using two different Google accounts.
Unfortunately, having set up both Versa 2s as new devices, in the notification settings, one only shows two apps from the iPhone it is paired with and the other shows no apps from the iPad it is shared with - so neither Versa 2 is capable of showing the notifications that I was originally getting and neither is capable of doing what I bought a . It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.
[edit] I just noticed that the Fitbit iPhone app was updated in the last 20h which is the period during which the above describes so it is very possible that the update has affected the notification settings. If so, I am out of pocket for two watches that I would not have bought without this functionality - not happy at all!

Hi there, @flamesong. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for all the details provided in your post. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 devices are not receiving the notifications from the app you want to. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please note that since you're setting up the notifications once again, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as an option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example (let's say that we are talking about WhatsApp notifications), tell someone to send you a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected.
You'll need to do this on both Versa 2 devices because the original was unpaired from the iPhone so you removed the access it already had to the notifications, and the new Versa 2 because it is being set up for the first time. Just make sure that the iPad also receives the notifications from the app desired as the iPhone does.

Thank you SO MUCH!
I can see how that makes sense but having previously set up notifications after the notifying app had already sent many messages, when I wanted to configure the Fitbit app, it was already there. Not knowing this, I assumed that all apps capable of forwarding notifications would pre-populate the app notifications settings page.
Again, I am extremely grateful for your solution!
