Can't setup Versa 2 to my phone again

I've spent all afternoon and evening and this morning trying to get my Versa 2 added back onto my Android phone.  Yesterday it stopped syncing to my phone so I did everything suggested, turn phone off and on (NUMEROUS TIMES), shut down fitbit (NUMEROUS TIMES) and logged out of my fitbit account.  I also uninstalled my fitbit app and installed it (NUMEROUS TIMES).  Then it was suggested that you remove the device from your account and reinstall it!  WELL I CAN'T!  I also turned Bluetooth on and off (NUMEROUS TIMES).

Hi there @RNIDS, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

For troubleshooting steps, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and/or Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If the steps don't work, note our team is aware of a syncing issue on Andriod 3.37 and is currently working on a fix. Thank you very much for your report and patience. Please stay tuned to this thread for updates.

This is VERY frustrating since I rely on my fitbit for appointments, calls and messages!

Did yours ever work? Been having the same exact issue.  I ended up unpairing it as a last resort. Now I can't get it to pair again.

NO!!!!  I actually uninstalled my Versa 2 from my android phone which was recommended and now I can't set it up on my phone😡  It keeps saying to turn on my bluetooth which is already on!  SO OVER THIS!

I have the same issue. Was working fine 2 days ago now I cant get my phone to recognise my watch. When I go to bluetooth it's either not there or says 'an app is needed for this' I've deleted the app, restarted and done all fixes suggested but no joy..frustrating!!

Have had no issue syncing my Fitbit to my phone for 2 years, until the most recent update.

Haven’t been able to sync it via my Samsung phone for a week now so I followed all your suggested steps, which told me to remove it and go though the “set up a new device option”.

well, thanks for that because now my Fitbit cannot be found via my phone at all.

Very angry as I rely on my Fitbit to alert me to texts on my phone.

The fb Fitbit page was of no help at all either.

why is the update not being reversed?

I ended up pairing it to my husband's phone and it worked. Apparently my
phone no longer supports it?

I am having the same issue. I restarted my watch, my phone and my Bluetooth and as a last stitch effort, I deleted the watch off my app, as suggested, and now I cannot get it to pair. My phone is up to date and has been paired for a couple years as well. This is so frustrating. It must be an update with in Fitbit. This happens too much! Errgg!

It has happened to me too! I seem to be spending all my time fiddling with it. My sleep data is no longer working on the phone either. Wish I had never unpaired the device. Waste of an awful lot of money and time.

Happy Friday Amy!  Same here, I've had mine Versa 2 for 2 years and have never had a problem.  I did the exact same thing you did and now it doesn't work!  Very frustrated!!!!!

The same thing is happening to mine. I unpaired it and uninstalled the app. Now I can't get it to pair. It keeps going through the charge it, enter a 4 digit number and then wait for it to connect but it doesn't!
