Can't swipe left, up or down???

for the last week or so my Fitbit has been acting up. The biggest issue is I am unable to swipe left to get to the exercise mode so I can monitor my heart during a run. It won't swipe up or down either but the left is the bigger concern as I have a virtual 10k to run this weekend. 

Can anyone help?

Try a restart.   Hold in left side button until see Fitbit logo, probably 10 or more seconds.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks, JohnnyRow I did that and no luck. I tried it twice as a matter of fact.
