Can’t swipe up for messages-Versa 2

I’ve disconnected and reconnected my Fitbit from blue tooth, done a couple resets and cleaned the watch front and back, but I still can’t swipe up to see messages.  Messages appear initially and then I can’t review them by swiping up.  Sometimes I can’t swipe right for the apps either. It’s hit or miss. Any suggestions?

Whether you haven't done so, please try to change your Fitbit device's clock face by following these instructions.
