Can't transfer music on new Fitbit Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After a 30 hour setup, I tried transferring music from my computer to my Versa.  Complete failure.  First it told me to turn bluetooth off on my computer - I didn't have bluetooth turned on.  And it absolutely will not recognize my home wifi even though my laptop and my desktop Fitbit app are both connected.

Any help?  Thoughts?

@DLThune You need to have wifi set up (added) in your fitbit mobile app and it has to be synced to your Versa in order to transfer music. I am not sure what setup you have at home but Versa won't connect to 5GHz. Also take a look at Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?.

I was finally able to get the Versa to connect to my WiFi by physically hanging the Versa ON the router.

I got music transferred by carrying my laptop into the other room and setting it right next to the router.

I did have to install the Fitbit app on my phone - which irritates me beyond belief.  I bought the Versa so I could leave my phone at home.  I did get music transferred to the Fitbit app and now I'll have to carry everything back to the router tomorrow or Wednesday to transfer the music TO THE VERSA.

The whole thing is just ridiculously harder than it should be.

@DLThune But once it transfers, you will be set free! 😊 Good luck!
