Can’t unlock for it with my iphone

My Fitbit has been working fine for over a year then afew weeks ago when I touched the screen it just kept asking for a PIN number. I didn’t set up a PIN number so can’t unlock it. I unlinked the device from my iphone thinking I could reinstall it but later found out that I need to reset the Fitbit but not to unlink it. To do a factory reset I had to try entering PIN up to 10 times then it tells me to unlock with phone. I had to hold the side button and keep holding even when it came back on but wait for a strong vibration to restart but when I tried pairing it again it asked me to input the 4 digit number on the Fitbit into my phone but I couldn’t see a pairing number because the Fitbit needed a PIN to unlock it! Fitbit support say to log into my account, go to to device lock but as it’s not paired, i don’t get that option. I’m going round in circles, it’s so frustrating and now the time is 20 mins slow. I’ve drained the battery to see if that works so waiting to see what happens when I charge it up again. Any ideas?

Hi @Jenny5003  - try chat again via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support, they will probably take you through a factory reset or another procedure.

Thanks Guy, I was going to do that if no one on the community had resolved the same issue. Was just hoping it was a common problem that I could resolve myself.
