Hello everyone,

So my wife has the versa 2 and, I don't know how it happened but, she removed the watch from the fitbit app and now all we see is a message on the watch that says "unlock with phone" but when you pair they asked for a code displayed on the watch, but the only things displayed is the message to use the phone to unlock it. I have searched for multiple solutions, I have tried the soft reset and it doesn't work...has anybody had the same issue?? can someone help me!

Hi there, @mau_ar. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your wife's Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

To unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your wife's phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
