Can't unlock my Versa 2 with my phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been given a versa 2 by my dad who has used it barely twice. The screen is stuck on ‘Unlock with your Iphone’ however it is not on his account so fitbit seems pin locked. I have tried a hard reset but to no luck. Is there anything we can do?

Since you got your Fitbit tracker from your dad I’m unaware if your aware of any tips you might need setting up your Versa 2 for yourself. This article here is packed with great tips and troubleshooting tips if you run into any:https://amaanswers.com/how-do-i-unlock-my-versa-2-without-my-phone

Hiya @SunsetRunner ,thanks for your help.

I’ve been up and down quite a lot of pages over the last 2 months (about the time he gave me it) so I have tried all of this.

I’ll definitely try another hard reset but there’s no way of getting into any settings or account connected to the fitbit so unable to get any type of pin.

@Sophiejtaylor22 Have you considered doing a factory reset since your dad no longer wants the watch and your wanting to set it up as new watch.? Doing a factory reset erasers all data from the tracker. But do understand a factory reset deletes all previously stored data, as well as any data that hasn't yet been synced to your Fitbit account. It also resets settings for notifications, goals, alarms, and so on. If that is something your interested in I provided a YouTube link here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4yZITtan2uY&vl=en

😃 let me knows if this helps

Hello again @Sophiejtaylor22

If you can’t get into the settings the you can factory reset this way:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

😉
