Can't unlock my Versa 2 with the phone

My versa 2 is locked and it says unlock on my phone but there isnt an option to do this. I have uninstalled my app and deleted my versa 2 from the app. It asks me to use a code on my versa 2 to unlock on my phone but as its locked no code comes up. I have followed all the suggestions in the community and am now stuck. My phone is a samsung galaxy a70

Hi there @JohnnyRow, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your father's Versa 2 and for trying to troubleshoot it before reaching out. @JohnnyRow Thanks for helping out! 

 

To unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your dad's phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset. 

 

At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hi
I have tried following your instructions thanks but it isnt resetting my
fitbit. I hold the button for 8 secs then release for 2 and press again but
there is no second vibration the fitbit sign comes on then goes off and
carries on doing that with no vibration then when i let go it turns back on
and is still locked so its not reset.

Any ideas?

it doesn't work that way, it constantly comes back with the text "unlock with your phone". Can it be thrown away?
