Can't unlock my Versa 2 with the phone

My Versa 2 was locked by child who just loves to make the "Unlock with Your Phone" screen appear after tapping/entering a random PIN multiple times.

I used to be able to unlock this no sweat from the Mobile App, but after an update awhile back, the option to unlock from my app no longer appears.

Has this function been moved to a different area? Or is this Fitbit/Google's way of telling me to get a new Fitbit?

@Grubmuncher Thanks for those details. As per the description of your post, it seems that your Versa 2 is no longer connected to your phone's Bluetooth. With that being said and in order to unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

Good day!

I can follow up to the point where I tap the device image on my phone.

The subsequent menu no longer shows a "Device Lock" option.

Hi Grubmuncher.  I have a question if you don't mind. I read where you said your fitbit, was locked up on you did you get yours unlocked? I have the exact problem! I will not put in a card to get my fitbit unlocked.  Thanks
