Can't unlock my Versa 3 with my phone

I accidentally set up a PIN code on the watch then proceeded to get locked out on my watch.  My watch will not turn off so I am unable to do a factory reset.  With the new Fitbit version, all of the YouTube videos that others have posted have outdated ways to unlock from the phone.   I am so frustrated with getting this resolved.  Does anyone have any suggestions, hints, or ways to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

If the steps above don't work, make sure you've also tried the factory reset as described below:

1. Don’t plug the Fitbit device into the charging cable. 
2. Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off. 
3. After the screen turns off, you’ll feel a short vibration:
   1. When you feel the vibration, release the button and immediately press and hold the button again.
   2. Wait until the blue logo appears, then disappears:
      1. Immediately release the button and then immediately press and hold it .again, until you feel a vibration.
      2. After you feel the vibration, release the button. 
         • This vibration indicates you started the factory reset. 
         • After the Fitbit logo appears, the Fitbit device shows the image with the phone icon and setup indicator. 

If you change again your phone in the future, please make sure to remove your Fitbit device from the phone's Bluetooth settings to avoid this from happening again.

Thank you for replying. My daughter managed to reset and the lock is no
longer showing, but the pin code is now showing.

Last week I was turing off my alarm while under my sleeve cuff and
accidentally set up a pin code. I have no clue what the code is.

What is the next step to remove the pin code from showing up? I have not
changed my phone, but I did notice the fitbit app has changed so the
YouTube videos are not helpful.
