Can't unlock my Versa with my phone

Hi, I’ve just put on a new wriststrap for my versa 1 and my pin screen was on so my watch has locked itself but i can’t update my pin as i don’t have my app paired with it.

 

i’ve used all the tips on hard factory resets (i did one for a full minute and it still wouldn’t factory reset) what do i do now?

Hi there, @BradleyMcLean. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. 

 

It seems like the Factory Reset wasn't performed correctly. So, to unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your wife's phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup. At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hi again, thanks for the help but there is still a problem. After i release the bottom right button my screen goes blank and doesn’t give me a vibration until after i let go of the other two buttons.

i don’t know how to fix this
