Can't unlock my Versa with my phone

I bought a second hand Versa that has a pin to unlock. It’s now locked itself and says I need to unlock using my phone but can’t find where! Would prefer to take the PIN off but don’t know how to do that either. Any ideas much appreciated

Hi there, @CarolW38. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa.

Since you're unable to unlock your watch using your phone, please follow the next steps to perform a factory reset on your device:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

That is probably locked from entering wrong PIN for Fitbit Pay too many times.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
