Hi there, @Blendal1. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa. @SunsetRunner @LZeeW Thank you for your help!

To unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your wife's phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup. At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Hello @Blendal1

Yikes, sorry to see you forgot your pin code. This Fitbit help section might help here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2250.htm You can read there that If you enter an incorrect PIN code 10 times, you're prompted to unlock your Fitbit device with your paired phone and also covers how to rest your pin. I also found this thread here where apparently this exact issue was being discussed and resolved for someone: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Versa-Smartwatches/I-have-locked-my-Versa-and-can-t-remember-p...

If the device is removed from your account then it might need a factory reset and then it will need to go through the setup process again, including setting up your wallet again. I would contact Fitbit Customer Service and discuss your options with them first.

😃I hope I pointed you in the right direction. Keep me posted

@Blendal1   If I am reading your post correctly, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place and should contact Support for more help.

  • In order to unlock it with your phone, it needs to be a paired device.  You said you deleted your Fitbit.  There is no device on your app to select.
  • According to the manual, you need to get to the Settings app on a Versa to do a factory reset.  I don’t know how you can get to the Settings app from a locked screen.
