Can't unlock my Versa with my phone

Hi,

Around two yrs. back I stopped my versa & got an Apple Watch for myself. After 6 months of not using it, I tried connecting it to my moms phone for her to be able to use it while walking.
unfortunately I had forgotten the password and then after multiple attempts, it started showing ‘unlock with you phone’ message on the watch. So I thought of deleting and delinking it altogether from my id and I did that but now the watch isn’t opening. Have been trying since 1.5 yrs and have been looking for service centres around too but not getting any support. Fitbit customer services are so bad, the number doesn’t work and the chat doesn’t open. Please suggest what can I do to be able to start using the versa again by linking it to my moms phone for her use.

Hi there, @Shruti_10. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Since the Versa is no longer paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup. At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
