Can't unlock my Versa with the phone

Hi everyone. I need help. My old Fitbit Versa need to be unlocked with earlier phone but I have already erased all the content and sold it! I tried to press the back button for more than 8 seconds to reset but it’s not working. The Fitbit logo appear and disappear but was back to the locked screen. How can I reset the watch so I can pair it with the new phone?

Hi there, @porkiepiggy. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

To unlock the watch now that it's no longer paired to your old phone, I suggest to perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup. At this point you can set up the watch again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Hi Marre, I tried 3 times and did not work. Firstly I press the 3 buttons all at same time as what was given in step 1. The screen disappears (there is no Fitbit logo so I can’t judge if the logo disappears so I assume when screen data disappear) so I released the bottom right button. After that I never encounter the watch vibrating no matter I long I hold onto the left and top right button. I release it anyway. Then it went into shut down mode instead. After i press any button to restart, it is back to the original locked screen earlier. Is there anyway I can reset it in the shop or someone can do it for me?
