Can't unlock my Versa

I was trying to change my wristband (which is, by the way, difficult) but forgot to turn off my Versa beforehand. Now it's lock and when I tried to unlock it with my phone by changing the pin it just keeps saying "error connecting to Versa".

 

I have deactivated Fitbit pay on the website and removed my card. Nothing! It is still locked and I can't even access the settings to factory reset my Versa. I have tried the 3 button press but every time I release the bottom right button after the Fitbit logo disappears it doesn't trigger anything.

 

No vibration or anything and by Versa is lock. I am on my wits end and I am just absolutely frustrated at this point. Please help this is ridiculous. This Versa was given to me as a gift and now I just feel crap that I can't use it.

As stated in my first post, I have done that. It did not work due to the constant error of "error connecting to versa."

 

I have reached out to customer support and they were able to assist me to unlock my versa.

 

I had to uninstall my app, as the problem with the constant error problem seem to be due to fitbit app for android being buggy.

Hey @etoile-fit, it's great to see you here.

 

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this. Make sure you are doing the following to unlock your watch with your phone:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image. 
  2. Tap or click Device Lock.
  3. Find the option to reset your PIN code.

Hey so I had the same problem but I removed the device from my Fitbit account as I thought it would help me to reset. 

Now I’m stuffed because the watch is still locked and it is no longer connected to an account... 

i cant add device and sync again because when the phone tries to connect it sends PIN numbers across which cant show up because the phone is locked!

any ideas??

Hi. I have same problem, did you ever fix this, Fitbit help advised to send versa back to them.
