my wife got a new phone and new watch so she gave me her old versa 2. but it says unlock with phone and her old phone is broken. I've tried everything I can think of to reset it. what's the best way?

I think this happens from entering bad PIN to use credit card on Fitbit Pay.
If wife has removed V2 from her phone, you might have to get her to attach V2 to her phone again and do the following with her PIN to release it.
How do I unlock my Fitbit device with my phone?
If you enter an incorrect PIN code 10 times, you're prompted to unlock your Fitbit device with your paired phone.
To unlock your device with your phone:
> your profile picture > your device image.
Note that after you reset your PIN code, you must add your cards to Fitbit Pay as if you were setting it up for the first time.

Take any phone, install the Fitbit app, log into your wife's fitbit account.
No follow the instructions to unlock with phone. The procedure should take less than 30 seconds after logging into your wife's account.

we tried it on 4 different phones and still can't get connected to it. everything works on the phone side but the watch won't unlock
