Hello! I recently got a Fitbit versa 2 and it has the version 35.70.7.14 and when I check for updates on my computer for it, the app says it is up to date but it is obviously not. I need help!

I did everything that the "how to update my Fitbit versa 2" but to no avail! When I first got it, the watch updated but it seems that it hasn't?

So if I just plug it in with the charger it should sense that there is an update? How long do I need to have it plugged in?

It didn't do anything when I plugged it in. When I ran a check for updates it still said it was up to date!

It's usually a 24-48 process for the Fitbit app to sync the activity with the server. That happened to me when I got a replacement awhile back and it did eventually show that the firmware was ready for an update. This is somewhere within the Help articles too. Strange I know but you may have to just give it some more time. Good luck!

Do you mean have it continuously connected to my phone? I have it set to that but I still have to manually sync it. I have had it for like 4 days

I don't think it has to be continuously connected to the phone. If you wear the Versa 2 and it records your activity then that syncs with the Fitbit app on your phone. Then after a couple of days I think it may sync with the server and the update may be available.

@RicardoFitbit I cannot figure it out! now it is not letting me sync with my devices! plz help!
