Can't upload my photo to my Versa's watch face

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I'm using my Versa with Android. I'm not able to upload my custom photo to the photo watch face from fitbit. It's allowing me to browse the picture from the gallery and crop it. But after cropping is done, nothing is changing, its still the stock watch face with the cat photo as the background. Does any one had the same issue? Or do someone has a solution. Please note, i'm talking about the Fitbit official photo watch face and not third party one. Thank You!

Hey @Sajai, a warm welcome to the Community.

Could you please provide me with a screenshot of the clock face that you are talking about? In the meantime, restart your Versa by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Hope to hear from you soon. Robot Happy

Hello,I was talking about the custom photo upload watch face. Attaching the
picture.
I tried restarting versa a few times, it didn't help. Thanks for your
support! 🙂Screenshot_2018_0702_114902.png

Im having the same issue.  Versa app is nine photo bing daily.  I have three custom photos cropped and added in settings, but I can’t get the watch to sync and update watch face.

When I click ‘update image on watch now’ nothing happens.

Not app, but watchface:  Nine-Photo Bing-Daily.

Hi, just wondering if you got a solution to this? I'm having the same issue, except I can't even get to the cropping stage.

Having the same issue. Super annoying! Anybody else having this issue? Has this been resolved yet? I've restarted my fitbit as well as my phone. Nothing is happening.

Hi, i had to format my phone as i had to give it for service (screen
cracked). Then, after reinstalling the app it started working for me. 🙂

But previously i had tried reinstalling the app but that time it did not
work.

Thanks, Sajai.

Hi!

I have been trying to solve this same issue for nearly two hours before I found this page, and realized that there is no solution. Then, I searched for an alternative to the photograph watch face. I found two: one that is similar (free) and one that you can do a slideshow of your own images ($1.99).

The one I used is the free one, and it is called Photo, by Wim Van Aerschot. The part where you upload your image and crop is the same, (except this one actually works)!

The one that costs two dollars seems nice, but I haven't tried it. It is called Photo Album Watch Face, by AppMosaic.

Hope this helps!

“Go to MyClock”

😡

Is that in Nebraska? Or in my fridge? Or in your mind?

Very poor instruction.

I'm having this issue too. I've just got the versa 2. I use a galaxy s7 edge, and I've followed all the instructions. I've restarted my fitbit, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, etc. Still I've got that picture of the cat. Is anyone ever going to fix it? Or am I missing something?

Hi there! I’m not sure if you ever resolved the issue but i was having this same problem! what i found out that actually works is changing the size of your photo (it is usually formatted to be actual size and i changed it to large size so it’s less MB) this then worked and i can now add my photo onto my watch face. I hope this helps and I hope you can pick some lovely photos!!!

This worked for the Fitbit Versa 3 if anyone is looking to change their clock face. Just did it and it was simple and fast. Have to do it from your phone.

Hi, I was having the same problem, was stuck for about 2 hours and just as I'd given up I turned off the permissions of the app and it worked straight away, hopefully this works for others.
