Can you edit distance in a rowing activity?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I upgrading to a Versa2 from Charge2. To record rowing distance with a charge 2, I’d select ‘workout’ and then manually edit the data to add distance rowed and it worked. This solution does not work with Versa2. I have removed GPS and turned off the watch. No disrespect but I’ve contacted Support 3 times now and I get waffle like ‘read more on this link’.
Pretty simple- can Versa2 allow me to manually record my rowing distance?

thank you

@Lee_Fit Welcome back to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for mentioning that you've contacted our Support team. Sorry to hear that your experience wasn't good, your feedback is really important to us, because we're always striving to improve.

When you select workout with Versa 2, you won't be able to edit the distance, you can only change the name. In this case, you may want to manually log the activity in order to log the distance, check the steps on how to do it here

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. This is disappointing given that the Charge could do this. I would have thought that not using GPS might have worked.
Back to the support team - we have now had 6-7 exchanges and I think the last reply finally said what you said 😞
Cheers L

@Lee_Fit Thanks for getting back. Your understanding is appreciated, we're always striving to improve our services offered, if you would like that activities could be edited, you may want to vote for this idea: Edit to rename the Activity or Workout or Exercise. Those ideas are reviewed by our Support team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.
